I've got an old Homelite String Trimmer that has broken the fuel line from tank to carbeurator. Is it repairable and what parts to I need? There are two clean holes in gas tank and a broken end attached to the carb. It is repairable and fairly easy. Cut a small V notch in one end so you can compress it through the hole in the gas tank.
Push it through until you can grab it with long tweezers or needle nose pliars. Cut the notched end off straight and Install the fuel filter on it and let it lay across the lenth of the the bottom of the tank. Then cut the end going to the carb the appropriate length. Spray WD40 on line if difficult to push through the holes.
